The Harvest is Ripe

Harvest
Every day and every second that passes people are dying and going into eternity. Where will they spend eternity? Its either heaven or hell.
Joel 3:14 says “ Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision”
What are we (the church) doing about those around us? In our neighborhoods, in our city, and in our nation?
One of my favorite quotes: “The love that drove Him to the cross now drives us to the lost”-LaDonna Osborn
That same love that caused Christ to come and die on the cross for you and me must be in us and drive us to the lost and hurting. That we would be driven by love and compassion, and burn with a sense of eternity that causes us to action.
John 4:35 Says “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”
The harvest is ripe!
God is looking for people that will not just pray for the lost but that will go and rescue them from the flames of fire.
Look at (Mark 2:1-12) this story in the bible where 4 men brought their paralyzed  friend to Jesus. They had so much compassion that they acted and did what probably appeared ridiculous! They broke the roof and let down the man in his bed to bring him to Jesus. That paralyzed man to me represents the lost. Paralyzed means stuck in place,  in-mobile, numbness, deadness.
The lost are all of these things.  This paralyzed man can also represent Holland or the nation you are from. We need people in all 4 corners of this nation mobilized, full of love and compassion to bring Holland to Jesus!
It took action, tenacity, and perseverance but they got the breakthrough. We need to do whatever it takes to see the lost come to Jesus in our land. All God is looking for is available vessels that will act and do. Will you be one of them?
Jesus told us to pray for workers / laborers. This harvest will not come in automatically, someone will have to go and do what Jesus told us to do. The bible says we are all ministers of reconciliation. We are all called to reconcile people to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus also gave us the Great Commission to go and preach everywhere.
You too can go, you too can share this good news. Just tell the Lord make me a fisher of men and act on that. Share your testimony with others and lead them in a simple prayer to receive Jesus.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.
Matthew 9:36-38
Pray this with me. “Lord, I hear the cry of the lost and I answer today to be one of the laborers that you will use. Raise me up in this nation to be used by you.  Thank you for a mighty harvest of souls in this NATION” Amen!
