Do you want to grow more in your relationship with God? Do you have questions about God’s Word? Join us for our Basics Classes, consisting of six lessons that are offered on Thursday evenings. This is also a great place to connect with some of our leaders who can help to mentor, encourage, and support you in your walk with God. In our Basics Classes we cover the one great topic each week discussing the foundations of the Faith. You will be equipped for your ever day walk with the Lord and have the opportunity to ask questions and get the answers from the Word of God.

We have a new members class called Connect With Us which is an opportunity for you to hear about the vision of the church, meet with Pastors Ben & Jacky, and to find out more information about how to become a member here at the River Amsterdam!

Most importantly, we are a Family and love to do life together. Learn more about the many areas the church offers for you to grow as a new family member of The River!

Every member of the body of Christ has a specific purpose and place in His house. We believe that God can use YOU in the local church to be the hands and feet of Jesus to this nation. Once you become a member here at the River, we have different teams – from Kids Church to Media and many others – that serve during our Sunday services that you can get plugged into.

These different teams are truly Dream Teams that work and accomplish goals together! We see how individual members grow simply by becoming part of one of our Dream Teams as they allow God to use them through their individual gifts and talents. The Dream Teams will allow you to see your potential unlocked and it is a place where friendships within the River are birthed.

Emerging Leaders is a course specific for selected Dream Team members who are ready to step into a leadership role within the River Amsterdam Church.
This is where the next generation of Home Group leaders and Dream Team leaders is being equipped!

One big part of the vision we have at The River Amsterdam Church is to see future leaders being trained and raised up. Those are the leaders who go into all the different spheres of influence to make the difference and be the light they are called to be. Most people are not born leaders but most people become great leaders by being developed. Emerging Leaders is the place where leadership skills are being sharped for a maximum impact through the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this world.
